The United Nations International School has a long-standing commitment to the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning.
ICT is an integral part of school life and technology is central to the functioning of UNIS. Networked computers are available wherever and whenever they can improve the learning process. Instructional technology is integrated in the subject areas and the school has a strong computer studies program in addition.
Communication between the different constituencies at the school is enhanced by a portal web site. Technology is also used to communicate world-wide. One example is the UNIS LiveCast project which uses sophisticated video-conferencing equipment to connect UNIS students to other parts of the world.
