Caryn Groce

Caryn Groce is the Executive Vice President, Deputy General Counsel of ViacomCBS Inc.  At ViacomCBS, Ms. Groce oversees several legal functions at the corporate level, including mergers and acquisitions, board of directors and public company governance and reporting, tax & treasury, joint venture/subsidiary management and real estate.  Prior to her current position, Ms. Groce served in a number of roles at the company, most recently as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Viacom International Media Networks, which operates international extensions of the company’s multimedia brands as well as program services created or acquired for international audiences.  Before working at ViacomCBS, Ms. Groce served as Senior Corporate Transactions Counsel at NBCUniversal, and was a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore (in its New York and London offices) as well as Hogan Lovells.  

Ms. Groce received a Bachelor of Arts from Bryn Mawr College, her Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.  She was born and raised in New York City and graduated from UNIS with an IB diploma.
