Drew Deutsch has close to 25 years of experience improving systems and motivating cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional growth, revenue, and bottom-line results through a variety of company and operational milestones. Intently focused on driving progress and strategy, Drew brings strong knowledge of digital platforms and technology-enabled advancements to join forces with IT, support sales/marketing efforts, and foster business initiatives.  Drew has had extensive experience supporting teams and businesses across the U.S., Asia, Latin America, and the UK.

Drew most recently served as Vice President and General Manager at edX/2U, a global education and technology company.  In his role at edX/2U he worked closely with higher education institutions, including Columbia, Berkeley, Fordham, and The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill to bring their graduate degrees and courses online.  Before joining edX/2U in 2019, Drew served as Chief Operating Officer of Urban Teachers, where he oversaw operations, marketing, communications, technology, recruitment, and local site teams to ensure execution of the non-profit organization’s strategic mission. 

Previously, Drew was Director, Americas for International Baccalaureate, a non-profit educational foundation where he oversaw all aspects of service and support to IB schools across the Americas. Before joining IB, Drew was a Vice President at The Princeton Review, an education company, where he launched the company’s first online programs.

Drew earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, English, and Government from Georgetown University and holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the United Nations International School in New York.
