Mauricio is a digital-savvy marketing, business development, and growth executive with over two decades of experience helping emerging and middle-market technology innovators realize their market potential. He has built, led, and activated high-performance teams worldwide; developed and launched disruptive SaaS, Cloud, and software products and IT services; and driven breakthrough revenue growth in partnership with sales leadership.

Mauricio has deep experience leveraging and integrating multiple go-to-market channels, including web, social media, direct sales, and partner ecosystem, to deliver superior market results. He is versed in branding, positioning, and messaging and has created compelling differentiation to generate demand within target markets. 

As a member of CMiC’s leadership team, Mauricio is responsible for all aspects of marketing, inside sales and customer success. During his tenure, CMiC – an ERP and field software provider serving the construction industry – has doubled the number of customers it serves; tripled the size of its marketing and sales teams; established new inside sales and customer success groups; achieved recognition by Deloitte as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies four years in a row; and earned multiple corporate leadership, product innovation, and workforce diversity awards.

Prior to CMiC, Mauricio worked as SVP Global Marketing at GT Nexus, a private equity-backed $130M Cloud supply chain innovator, where he established the go-to-market strategy and program prior to its acquisition by Infor for $675M. As SVP of Marketing at Mobius, a $100M enterprise software vendor, he partnered with sales leadership to restore growth, culminating in its sale at 3x the baseline valuation. As VP of Marketing & New Products at C3i, a $ 55M CRM services firm, Mauricio helped to double revenues while creating and launching a new on-demand analytical service. Earlier in his career, he led client engagements with Accenture's business strategy practice and developed state-of-the-art test systems for Schlumberger in Silicon Valley.

Mauricio earned an S.B. in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a frequent panelist at industry conferences and judge at marketing recognition events. He has served on education-focused and corporate Boards and lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters. Mauricio was born in Cali, Colombia, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and enjoys international travel, photography, studio art, theater, alpine skiing, and biking.
