Nikhil Bodade

Nikhil Bodade is a Partner and General Counsel at American Industrial Partners. Prior to that, Mr. Bodade was a partner in the private equity transactions practice group in the New York office of Ropes & Gray, LLP. Mr. Bodade was born in Nagpur, India and received his Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.) from Government Law College, Mumbai in 2005 and his Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School, New York City in 2007, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
Mr. Bodade serves on the Editorial Board of The Business Lawyer, an American Bar Association business law journal and is a member of the American Law Institute. He previously also served as a member of the Young Professionals Board of Youth, Inc., an accelerator of New York City's youth-development nonprofits. Mr Bodade speaks Marathi, Hindi and English. He lives in New York City with his wife Sumita and two children who are UNIS students - class of 2030 and class of 2033.
