Italy gifted UNIS with a 100-year-old olive tree to celebrate the Italian Air Force's 100-year anniversary of serving the UN Peacekeeping mission. UNIS welcomed an official delegation from Italy and the European Union, accompanied by several generals, colonels, and captains of the Aeronautica Militare, who came to donate the olive tree to UNIS, as an enduring symbol of UN ideals and of the continued support of the Italian Mission to our language program.
