Director of Buildings and Grounds
Edward Peppe was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Ed has 34 years experience in educational facilities operations and maintenance, and have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, fire/life safety systems, code compliance, and DOB procedures. Prior to joining UNIS in 2015, he worked for the New York City Department of Education as a Stationary Engineer, a Refrigeration Engineer, a Maintenance Supervisor, and a Custodian Engineer. Ed earned an Educational Facilities Manager's certification from the New Jersey School Buildings and Grounds Association at Rutgers University in 2014 and is a member in good standing in the following organizations: the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), the National Association of Power Engineers (NAPE), the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP).
