Marisa Rivera

Marisa Rivera holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse. With 17 years of nursing experience, she has excelled in Pediatric, Pediatric Intensive Care, and Pediatric Oncology Units at a children’s hospital in Brooklyn, NY. For the past 12 years she has focused her expertise in school health. Outside of work, she’s a proud mom to a college athlete and loves spending time with her cuddly pit bull, Tank. She enjoys football, cooking, traveling, and quality time with her friends and family. Her guiding principle is, “Students Must Be Healthy to Be Educated and Educated to Be Healthy.”
