Michael Zagalis is a Registered Architect (RA) in New York State, holding a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute. He spent the first part of his career focused on the design and construction of various project types throughout NYC—including residential, cultural, and mixed-use buildings.
Prior to joining UNIS, he most recently worked at Aecom Tishman, in design and construction management roles with a key focus on infrastructure and institutional projects—a few of which include The World Trade Center, Jacob Javits Center, American Museum of Natural History and most recently The New Terminal One at JFK Airport.
Michael has experience navigating all stages of capital projects, ranging from scheduling, cost controls, local and state filings, design and consultant coordination, through to construction and project closeout.
