Raluca Manea
Director of Modern Languages
Dr. Manea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature from Harvard College and a Doctorate in French Literature from New York University. She has taught French language and humanities at NYU and the University School in Ohio. Raluca has also published articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-edited and translated the "Romanian Writers on Writing" anthology for the Writer’s World Series.
Most recently, she led the Modern Languages Department at Collegiate School in New York City. Raluca is a native of Romania, fluent in French and English, and continues to improve her advanced Spanish and German. She enjoys visual art, live music, and urban drifts in her free time.
