1. Create a Ravenna Account
To begin the application process, create an account in Ravenna.
Through the Ravenna account, you will be able to submit the application, register for an online tour and an online assessment, email teacher recommendation forms directly to your child’s teachers, submit all admissions materials, check the status of your application, and receive admissions decisions.
For all Junior School applicants during the 2022-23 admissions year: we neither require nor accept standardized test scores.

For Prekindergarten applicants: For students who apply by 15 November 2022, our admissions decisions will be sent to families on Thursday, 2 March 2023.
For Kindergarten applicants: For students who apply by 15 November 2022, our admissions decisions will be sent to families on Thursday, 9 February 2023.
For 1st to 4th grade applicants: For students who apply by 15 November 2022, our admissions decisions will be sent to families on Tuesday, 14 February 2023.
Fifth to Twelfth Grades

1. Create a Ravenna Account
To begin the application process, create an account in Ravenna.
Through the Ravenna account, you will be able to submit the application, register for a tour and an interview (both of which are available in person and online), email teacher recommendation forms directly to your child’s teachers and request school reports, submit all admissions materials, check the status of your application, and receive admissions decisions.

Schedule the in-person or online student interview by choosing one of the available days and times, as shown in the Ravenna account. Students are interviewed for half an hour, and parents are not interviewed separately as part of the application process, though students can decide that the parents join the interview. Some applicants will also take an hour-long math test, as described below in Step 5, Take an Admission Test.

For students in the United States or Canada: All applicants should take the ISEE or SSAT, and they can do that online or at a Prometric testing center. For students applying in the regular application season (with applications due by 15 November 2022), we recommend that they take the test by the beginning of January 2023 in order for the test results to reach us by mid-January.
For students in other countries: All applicants should take the ISEE or SSAT, and they can do that online or at a Prometric testing center. If applicants cannot take the test online or find a nearby Prometric testing center, they should contact the Admissions Department to discuss an alternative.
6. Receive the Admission Decision
For 5th to 8th grade applicants: For students who apply by 15 November 2022, our admissions decisions will be sent to families on Tuesday, 14 February 2023.
For 9th to 12th grade applicants: For students who apply by 15 November 2022, our admissions decisions will be sent to families on Wednesday, 1 March 2023.
