Barry's Booth

After over 35 years at UNIS, it’s time to bid farewell to our beloved Security Officer Extraordinaire, Barry. Barrington Calvert started his UNIS career behind the scenes as a chef in our cafeteria. Years later, he transitioned to UNIS Security Officer, protecting and welcoming our students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni each and every day. His smile and friendly demeanor have been a source of comfort to countless members of our UNIS Community. For his service and how he’s meant so much to generations of UNIS alumni, we would like to honor Barry by naming his post at the front gate “Barry’s Booth.” 

This naming opportunity will culminate in a plaque unveiling at the UNIS 75th Anniversary celebration in October 2022. This will be a most appropriate way to honor Barry and his years of dedication to UNIS.
