We emphasize kindness and positive sportsmanship alongside dedication, teamwork, and healthy competition. 

With 12 global sports offered on campus, UNIS athletics provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where students can grow, challenge themselves, and explore their passions.

  • NIAAA Quality Program Award: UNIS Athletics became the first school in New York State to be awarded the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Quality Program Award at the Exemplary Level
  • Facilities and Events: New floor and basketball systems installed in The Bubble. We have also introduced new evening Athletics Awards for students and parents, and hosted our first pep rally!
  • First School in New York to add a TouchScreen showcasing Athletics History and Student-Athlete History

  • Varsity Table Tennis: Finished 3rd in NYSAIS and qualified for the NY Mayors Cup *Coed Team*

  • Boys Varsity Soccer: NYSAIS Quarterfinalist
  • Boys Varsity Basketball: NYCAL Playoff Runner Up
