Before & After School & Camps

To support the needs of UNIS families, all students have access to extended day care through their second year of Middle School. Our after-school programs offer rich opportunities for students to explore new interests, pursue their passions, develop new skills, and deepen their learning through engaging, hands-on experiences.


UNIS provides a wide range of after-school classes alongside traditional after-school care, giving working families confidence that their children are safe, supported, and meaningfully engaged beyond the school day.

Extended Day Care

The UNIS Care Program provides a warm and safe enviroment from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. UNIS parents have the ability to enroll their children in the UNIS Care Program full time, for specific days each week, or by emergencies. This program provides designated time for children to work on schoolwork, eat snacks, enjoy time with friends, and participate in relaxing activities.

After School Program

The after-school program is designed for students from Junior School to High School. Our diverse offerings focus on practical life skills and academic exploration through specialized tracks in technology, finance, and the arts. The program offers a variety of sports and languages.

The language programs are offered at the acquisition and mother tongue level. The broader Afterschool program also includes language classes in Swedish, Italian, Japanese, or Spanish for mother tongue students. French Mother Tongue Enrichment Program is a curricular component of the French International Section. It is offered to J2-M1 students. Finally Intensive Mandarin, Korean and Portuguese are offered through the generous support of the Diplomatic Missions.
