International Travel

The UNIS international travel program gives students immersive language, cultural, academic, and service experiences beyond the classroom through homestays, global travel, and learning alongside classmates and UNIS chaperones. With expanding destinations and consistently strong student feedback, these meaningful exchange programs are strongly encouraged for all students to apply and participate.

Our students abroad

UNIS offer up to four international language and culture trips which take place over spring break each year to regions of the world where curricular languages are spoken. These trips often involve language instruction, immersive opportunities in local communities, and peer exchanges in order to help students make active use of the target language, forge connections with their own cultures, and foster their personal growth.
